FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We use a standard pricing software that generates an estimate by comparing costs of other local contractors and costs of materials to come up with an extremely competitive quote so that you do not have to spend time getting multiple estimates. This system has proven time and time again to be effective for both the home owner and our company.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically when we meet with a new customer, the first thing we like to do is go over credentials, we want you to take a look at our license and insurance policy so that you can rest assured that you are in good hands. We show our portfolio of work we have done recently and we go over the project scope. Once we get a hands on look at the project, we give an estimate to the customer and that estimate is good for 30 days. Once the customer makes the decision to go with our company, an initial deposit is made (usually 1/3 of the project cost to secure materials). We then put our customer on our schedule and the work is performed usually within 1-2 weeks. Sometimes sooner than that depending on the demand for business. We match up our customers to the right crew that will be the best fit. We like to work on building a relationship with our customers to ensure customer satisfaction so that we are the first company they call when they are ready to start more projects in the future!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The best advice we would like to give customers who are looking to hire a provider in this area of work is to make sure that you hire a company that is fully licensed and insured and has a general contractor supervising the project. Too many times I have seen home owners give their money to a laborer who takes their check and never shows up to do the work that was promised. When you hire a professional company who is licensed and insured, you can guarantee that your work will be completed and the company will not run away with your hard earned money. You have that extra assurance that if anything goes wrong (which occasionally happens, whether you hire a professional or not) you are covered by their insurance and you will be able to be compensated in the case that something happens that was unexpected. Also when a company is licensed, you know that the owner of that company has no prior convictions, bankruptcies, fraud or charges of theft. It is reassuring to know you are in good hands with honest, hardworking people.
