FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new client, I begin by assessing. I like to get an idea of how they use their body. So my questions will be focused on what they do daily. What kind work they do, what type of recreational activities they participate in, how often they drive, cook, clean, if they have kids, how often they're on their phones, computers, watching TV, etc. A lot of my questions may seem odd, but most people don't think about the menial tasks that are done daily by way of the body. After I get a general sense of what they do, I then like to know if they have any pain or discomfort throughout their body. This is a quick way for me to know where to start in regards to corrective massage/stretches/exercises. I then move onto movement assessments. This is where I can see any limitations in mobility, balance, and range of motion. This also allows me to gather information that helps me to better assign corrective massage/exercises/stretches for any specific limited movement.
