My experience had some ups and downs. His pricing was aggressive and he was cooperative and willing to do what was needed to finish the job the way I wanted it. I did have schedule issues with Eric. The project is behind schedule and is still not complete. Some of the quality of the work Eric did was questionable. However, he did make an effort to make repairs. He used some people I believe he never used before.

This is the first project I have done for this investor. There was never a schedule agreed to finish the work. I attempted to set a schedule at the first draw and he wanted to discuss and determine later. It was never again discussed or determined. I admit this project has taken longer than I also wished it had. There were changes to the scope of work that effected the schedule and also completed extra work that I am not charging the client for. The sub contractor I used for the deck portion of job will not be used again by me. Over all my experience with the client fair.

We had a great experience with SVB. The job we needed help with was completed much more quickly than we expected, with no sacrifice in quality. Eric was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable about the materials being used. He was able to guide us in figuring out what we needed, and we look forward to working with him again on our next project. Reasonable prices, too!

I am always reading about new products and I am informed of any new building codes with BOCA and the IRBC
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Get at least 3 quotes from qualified contractors. Be aware that the lowest quote may not save you money in the long run. Check references and don't be afraid to ask questions. I love to answer them.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
There are a lot of good people in working in the construction industry. Most of us really want to help you and not rip you foo.
