About
Engineer has been working with audio since 1971, and continues to learn new techniques and equipment as they come available, and is willing to experiment to continually evolve. I love the creative aspect of the job as we take a raw piece of music and sculpt it like a work of art and polish it until it shines brightly, then watching the reactions of the customer when they hear the end result.

This experience has been professional and fun right from the get go.. With the crazy winter we've been having it has been a little difficult locking down a day when everyone can make the drive. Taylor has been communicative and has gone out of his way to not only remain flexible on our scheduling needs but he ran a very professional recording session and had a plethora of equipment and knowledge to make our first workshop at Captain Blue Recording Studio a first rate experience. I highly recommend this studio and will definitely return for any future recording needs...

I recorded an original song with one vocalist and one pianist; the song consisted of one vocal part and one accompanying piano track, and the time span was roughly four hours. In the course of a short session, Taylor proved very knowledgeable about and efficient with recording setup, editing (tempo, pitch correction, time-stretching, reverb, etc.), and timbre selection for instruments. Taylor was also very open to input. Unfortunately, due to my personal time constraints, I did not have the opportunity to work with Taylor on any significant amount of production (ie. adding a beat, an array of other instruments, vocal processing, etc.) or the recording of acoustic instruments, so my production experience with him is very limited. It would have improved my experience if the recording booth had been less crowded. I am an amateur but active composer and producer, and I would trust Taylor with the recording, editing, and production of my nearly 40 original songs; overall, my experience was a very positive one, and I hope to work with him again in the future.

Hi, Ever since I Started working with Taylor Sappe , I found him a Great Gentleman and Person in polishing Lyrics and setting them to music we have done a lot of songs together. And for me he is the best there is no one who can be as good as him.

I have been working on and off with Taylor for almost 15 years he has produced and recorded many of my original compositions and I have taken piano lessons from him as well. His concentration level and attention to detail is outstanding. He has patience and an ease with the way he works. He is a fantastic producer and recording engineer and over-all Music Educator.

Taylor and I have worked on and off for several years, music theory, ear training and recording. Most recently he has been teaching me the finer, and proper, techniques of guitar playing. For over 30years I have been an on again/off again student of music, his knowledge, love of music, and easy to work with personality have kept me engaged and excited about playing. He's also a good sport about learning crazy high harmonies, that sound killer, for the sake of my accompaniment!
