I eloped with my husband at the last minute. The day before our wedding I was hoping I could find someone to apply henna, but with such short notice and our location in a hotel in Philadelphia I wasn't sure it would be possible. Zainab was prompt - I found Zainab and Henna Services through Thumbtack. She contacted me minutes after I posted my request and followed up with me just as quickly. Also, she was willing to come to our hotel in Philadelphia. She told me that she would be willing to go to Mars for henna, but I'm glad it wasn't that far. Zainab was a tireless professional -- Over seven hours she applied henna to both side of my hands and arms and designs to my feet that would work with my shoes. Towards the end I smudged one of the designs and she was able to rebuild it without issue. Zainab's work was beautiful -- The evening before our elopement everywhere we went people were fascinated by my henna.. Her designs were beautiful and full of symbolism with the flowers for happiness and paisleys for fertility. All her designs flowed well over the shape of my arms, hands and feet. She was willing to lengthen or shorten her designs to make them work in the space. It made me feel beautiful and special on our wedding day. For the brides -- Be prepared with your lemon and sugar water in advance. I forgot and it led to sticky situations as we tried to mix it up while she was applying. Also make sure you have a soft comfy couch with pillows covered in old cases so you don't have to worry about them getting stained. Finally, don't wait until the last minute. Book Zainab now for any weddings or parties you have in the future. You won't regret it.

For my Moroccan themed birthday party, Zainab performed Henna services to me and my guests. She arrived ten minutes early and was ready to begin at her scheduled time. Her designs were beautiful and she can do whatever design you ask for easily. She worked really fast during her two hour time slot and even stayed until the party ended for those guests that arrived late or those who wanted more designs. The quality of her work is awesome and her price is very affordable. A week later, people are still talking about their henna experience and designs. I'm so glad I found her through thumbtack. All of my guests took a business card from her. That's how much they loved her. She was very informative about henna and how to take care of our designs.
