Where do I start!!? I found LadyTee here. I viewed her profile as well as her pictures. I decided to send a message. She responded to me very timely and very professional. We started to correspond and set up a meet for an estimate. She was at our meeting place on time and egar to be hired with paint samples ready to show. I enjoyed how interactive she was, offering advice on colors that will compliment each other. I explained how I wanted 2 accent walls. One with a design and another just a different color to draw an eye. Tee was with it all and could see my vision. Off the bat I knew that I wanted to work with her. However, I had others coming for an estimate, and wanted to be fair. After the others showed up, seemingly uninterested and unprofessional; I knew LadyTee was my painter for the job. I showed LadyTee my color for my dining room and we discussed accent walls. The paint I found that matched my funiture color was by a different company then what Tee uses but she was able to find it perfectly. As she started my project, I told her I wanted something different. I wanted her to push her own creativity and I'm flexible. So she did. I gave her an idea and she birth her own design. For that, I am grateful. She was open to doing her work a a different way. She had a full canvas to work with and I let her work it. Tee said it would take 3 days, and she made my home new in that time frame! "A FRESH COAT FOR A FRESH START" indeed!! I could not have asked for a better painter/creator and business woman. I plan to keep LadyTee on standby for any future projects I need. I have already shared her with family and friends who are ready to book as soon as they can. If you haven't found a painter, you better hurry to get in with her before she's booked beyond capacity. I promise; its coming soon. Thank you LadyTee! I look forward to working with you soon in the near future.See more

Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How much does it cost to clean a window?

The average cost to clean windows is between $165 to $180. Some companies might charge a flat rate per window, while others have a more adaptive pricing model. The number of window panes usually plays into the price, as individual panes take more time and materials to clean. The type of window (double-hung, casement, etc.) might also affect pricing. To find out how much it will cost to clean your windows, get estimates from top-rated window cleaners near you.

How do I prepare for window cleaning?

You can do some light cleaning yourself. For example, you can wipe your window blinds. Also, clear the area inside and outside of belongings that could get in the cleaner’s way. Perform an inspection of your shutters and window screens to see whether you’d like them cleaned as well.

Do you tip a window washer?

Whether you tip a window washer is up to you, but you can certainly give them a tip if they do a good job. This is a particularly nice gesture for workers who clean your windows under harsh conditions (e.g. hot weather). A tip between $5 and $20 is appreciated. If it’s a crew, you can throw in $5 or more per person, or just go with $20 if it’s a single person. Qualities of a job well done include timeliness, professionalism and friendliness.

How do professionals clean windows?

Professionals use a basic solution of cleaning concentrate and water to get windows clean. They might use a scrubber to loosen grime and sun-baked debris off the glass, then begin working with a squeegee to make the glass perfectly clear. They will clean both inside and outside of the window. Professionals take extra care with individual divided panes to protect the edges.

What is included in window cleaning?

Typically, professional window cleaners will clean both the inside and outside of your windows, taking care to use different techniques as needed for different types of windows. They can remove hard water stains and perform deep cleans after new construction.

Window cleaners may charge extra to remove, install, and clean screens and storm windows. They may also charge more to clean windows that are high off the ground. They will also usually clean window tracks, and can alert you if there’s a problem with your windows or trim.

How much is commercial window cleaning?

The national average cost to clean windows is $120-$170. Typically, window washing for commercial spaces costs less per window than residential window washing, but has a higher overall price because the greater number of windows. Commercial window cleaning companies may charge a standard rate per window — for example, $3 to clean the exterior only, with a higher rate of $4 or $5 to also clean the interior. There may be an additional charge, such as an extra $1 per window, for scrubbing off water stains or deep-cleaning window tracks. Double-hung windows require more labor and will therefore cost more to clean. Companies may charge a flat rate, such as $8 per double-hung window or $9 per French door, to account for the added work. Building height will play a factor in window washing costs. Standard cleaning for one- and two-story buildings will typically stay within the same range, but cleaning high-rise windows may entail special safety permits and equipment, which would increase costs. Your location will also affect window washing costs. Smaller towns and areas with a lower cost to do business will have lower window cleaning rates than large cities.

I would say that most of my windows on my 3-story Victorian home have never been so clean. I was very pleased with the service provided and how quickly the job was done.
