I had the idea to gift my sister and brother-in-law with a private chef experience, but did not have a date or person in mind. We decided to do it on a Sunday in June, and I reached out two days before to find someone. Tony responded and was very flexible and accommodating, despite the short notice. We had an amazing evening full of delicious food, wine, and stories.
It ended up being an unforgettable gift for my sister and brother-in-law:
"We didn't know what to expect when we learned, as part of our 30th birthday present, that a personal wine and food chef would be coming into our house to cook us a meal. Will he be awkward? How long will it be? Will the food be good? What will we talk about? Yet the moment Tony pulled up to our front door, all of our questions were answered and all of our fears abated. Truly an entertainer, chef, sommelier, and foremost, a teacher, Tony instructs his students on the relationship between good food and great wine while genuinely trying to learn more about them as individuals. By the end of the night - which will happily go longer than you anticipated - we couldn't remember whether Tony was a close friend who came over for dinner, or the chef hired to make a birthday meal... we'll blame that on the wine."
Thank you Tony!!!
