- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most online training course only cover the basic bartending necessities. My course covers all aspects of the industry. Ownership, bar management, classic drinks and wine history. You will leave with enough information to enter the service industry with confidence. Current industry workers will feel confident moving forward to the next level. You’ll be able to provide proof of both bartending and management training! Certification is received immediately and can be printed upon passing your exam. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Management: CEO Denise M Hodge is a licensed Mixologist that has served in many aspects of the food and service industry for several years. Her experience includes but is not limited to General Manager, Bar Manager, head Bartender, bartender, Celebrities Bartender and venue consultant. Ms. Hodge was recently the featured bartender and server on Rip Michaels show “Urban Eats & Treats” where she worked alongside Rip Michaels and Nick Cannon. She has also served as a private bartender for legendary rapper, ghost face and his wutang family. Denise has an extensive background in customer service, sales and marketing. This background gives her the ability to identify first hand what this market wants and needs. These skills combined make her a perfect candidate.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have a Mobile Hookah Bar service. I would provide the service to local lounges and bars. This one bar my friend worked at she would multi task. She was the bartender but when people would order food she had to go back and make it lol. I would cover for her to make sure nobody came behind the bar. The problem was people expected me to make drinks. Little by little she taught me everything there was to know. I went on to become certified and the rest is history! Yes that bar turned out to be the first place to hire me 😊
