So happy with Mayger Contracting. Mike and his crew did great work building a deck for me at a really good price. I will without a doubt be using Mayger for any future projects and would highly recommend that anyone looking for a reliable, honest contractor give these guys a call.

During a large rainstorm water started randomly coming through my smoke detector (yikes). I needed someone to come and look at my roof urgently because I knew I needed a total roof replacement with both the plywood and shingles needing replaced. After calling 5 different places only 2 companies showed up. The guy who actually owns Mayger contracting was not only the first to respond to my request but the first to come and actually look at my roof. Super tough to get people to be prompt these days! After getting quotes from both companies Mayger contracting was a higher cost than the other. When I explained this to the owner he asked what material I was quoted on. Turned out the “cheaper” company quoted me to replace the plywood on my roof with a much thinner piece of plywood that isn’t really recommended for roofs. He on his own offered to quote me with that size plywood (and did) but also explained in all honesty that was pretty thin wood for a roof and it’s not something he felt completely comfortable doing. When I asked the other company (one I didn’t use) to adjust their quote for the thicker and proper sized plywood they eventually did (after 4 days) and their cost was much higher that Mayger contracting. At that point my decision was clear. I chose the company that was both honest with me from the start AND the less expensive option. Use these guys with confidence!
