Orlando responded promptly and explained everything he thought needed to be done. He gave me good quotes before doing any work. He was able to install Microsoft Word on an almost-ten-year-old laptop and imported files, did a cleanup, and added memory. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Most of my services range from about $60 to $120 for software related issues. Hardware fees all depend on the market and difficulty of the part change. I rarely charge hourly rates unless a in-home visit is required.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?The normal process involves an explanation of the problem along with the model of the computer. Usually I can quote based off what the customer explains to me. In other cases I allow the customer to bring the machine to me and I can do a free diagnosis.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I study and stay in the industry, looking up tech news and such all the time. This industry is constantly evolving.
