FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer clear, transparent pricing based on your specific project. Every customer receives a free written estimate after an on-site visit, so there are no surprises. You’ll always know what you’re paying for and why. We explain the scope of work, materials, and options so you can choose what fits your home and budget best. Permits and inspections are charged at actual cost - no markups, no hidden fees. We believe in honest work, fair pricing, and long-term trust with our clients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every project starts with a free on-site consultation. We come out in person to take measurements, review the existing structure, and check local code requirements. We listen to your ideas and discuss your goals - style, materials, budget, features, and timeline. You’ll get honest feedback and practical options, not sales pressure. After the visit, we prepare a clear, written estimate with a detailed scope of work. Once approved, we schedule the project and handle everything professionally from start to finish. Our process is simple, transparent, and designed to make you feel confident at every step.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 5 years of hands-on experience in residential carpentry, focused specifically on decks, stairs, railings, and outdoor structures. My training was built through real-world work under senior builders who taught me how to build correctly, safely, and to code. I am proficient in deck framing, load-bearing structures, stair layout, and code-compliant railing systems. I understand not just how to build, but why things must be done a certain way for strength, safety, and long-term durability. This background allows me to spot problems others miss and deliver work that passes inspection and stands the test of time.
