- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes! I am always looking to add a few new shapes to my repertoire. I get together with a fellow balloon artist friend and we share new things that we have learned and worked for us. I am also great indebted to all the very generous people on Youtube who share their balloon creations!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have a friend who got trained to be a balloon artist working in restaurants. As a creative person and a visual artist the job she described to me sounded right up alley. Growing up I was the shy, observational type, but I became hooked on the artistry. I knew that becoming a balloon artist would greatly increase my people skills and help me grow as a person.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently did a party for a family that had me back a second time. I had learned some new stuff this time around and must have made five Olaf's from Frozen!
