Introduction: I cook because I love to comfort people, and providing delicious food is a simple, yet universal way to pour your heart out without saying a word! From a young age, I understood how good it felt to have people rave over my boxed cakes (I cook them from scratch now), to be asked by my friends to make my famous pasta dish for their sweet sixteen birthday parities or to have my aunt, a home economics teacher, be impressed over my ability to make the perfect, light and fluffy scrambled egg. I have experience with providing a warm, casual (small to medium) event on almost any budget. I can create something from almost nothing. I specialize in soul food, comfort food and ethnic food, with my own personal flair (yes, I can do healthier variations of almost any dish that I make). I am also a certified bartender and have knowledge of classic drinks, but can create my own recipe with ease. I will cook dinner for you or a romantic dinner for two, brunch for you and your BFFs, create a luau feast in the dead of winter. I will show you that money and timing isn't everything when it comes to entertaining. I will make it easy for you and your budget.
