I quoted you $160 for your skylight(this job), and I never mentioned that I would remove the old plaster wall for you, I only said that I would put 4 wood boards on the surface to cover it. But my employee was too attentive. He removed the worse plaster and made the whole bathroom dusty. Because I caught a cold today, I couldn't stay in the house for too long. Before I left, I told them clearly that we only needed to put 4 wooden boards and caulking gaps then we could leave. In the end, we spent 3.5 hours, from purchasing materials to leaving the workplace, each employee cost $28/Hr, the total labor cost of two employees was $196, the material cost was $41.29, and the total cost was $237.29, but I only charged you $160. I made a mistake. I shouldn't have given you a too low quote, which made you feel unhappy. If I quoted you $500, you would be satisfied with today's work and would not mention the paint cost to me.
