I've been in the home remodeling business for over 30 years, servicing houses and apartment complexes. I take a lot of pride in what I do. I aim to please and satisfy customers and my prices are very affordable. My specialties are painting, sheetrock (drywall) and flooring, but I am well versed when it comes to any type of home remodeling. Below is a list of my accomplishments. Tony did a fantastic job installing new fence panels for me to ensure my 4 dogs wouldn't escape through the existing decaying fence at my home in Fishtown/Kensington. He was professional, worked extremely clean and was in touch with me every step of the project. Most importantly he was punctual with getting back to me if he missed my call and got the job done on extremely short notice for a great price. Highly reccomended.

I hired Tony to repair a gate door that was completely detached from the frame.Tony was very professional when coming to my home. He came for one project but ending up doing two. Very clean and neat with his work. He made sure to get back to me if he couldn't make it on a particular day. His prices are very reasonable and I will definitely hire him for future projects in my home and I will recommend him to friends and family.

Tony was one of the contractors that showed up for an evaluation of a problem which we had with a leak in the bathroom upstairs. The first persons estimate was outrageous. As it turned out Tony was very honest about the whole situation. He did not only fixed the plumbing but also recommended to replace a very old bathtub (rusting on the bottom) to avoid later problems. With that he retiled the area above the bathtub. He was always on time, and communicating his commute and arrival via text messages. The price, for what turned out to be a much bigger job than anticipated, was very reasonable. We are going to hire him again to refinish the hardwood floors.
I would highly recommend his services to anyone.

I hired Pur-Fection to install glass block windows in my basement. What I got was a very professional, and friendly individual who showed me every step of what needed to be done.
The existing frames on all my basement windows were old, cracked, dry rotted, and not level at all. He spent quite a deal of time replacing the frame and building up the cement where it had cracked to ensure a quality installation. He also made some great suggestions that made my windows more secure, and allowed me to keep some of the old antique hardware to cover the window on the exterior of the house.
Mr. Hargrove was extremely patient and stuck around until the job was completed, and although the job took much longer than anticipated he didn't charge me extra, although I did give him a generous tip. I must say if you have things that need to be done and don't want to spend an arm and a leg, give him a call. His rates are VERY reasonable.
I'd definitely hire him again, as we've already been talking about several projects that I need to get done ASAP.
