About
Unlike others, I'm a student working out of my apartment so my space is more intimate than a salon or spa. Also, my number one priority is healing and making others feel great so I will spend the time needed to do so. I also work with a partner and we provide many different types of massage and incorporate other aspects of healing as well. Finally, I'm a figurative artist and a psychology major (focusing on neuro-psychology and physiology) so I have an extensive knowledge of anatomy and the human form. I took a class called Ecorsche in which we had to sculpt an entire anatomically correct skeleton and then sculpt all the muscles on top of that. I really enjoy the one on one interaction and getting to know people and their bodies. I also enjoy the opportunity of being able to heal someone and make them feel relaxed and comfortable. The fact that I can make my own hours is also convenient because I'm currently a student at the University of Pennsylvania.

I scheduled a 1 hr session with Cait at what appeared to be her apartment. Talkative, while not chatty, Cait took her time, working over all the knots and kinks and even somehow managed to manipulate my bad left shoulder in such a way that it enabled a range of motion that no one else had been able to accomplish. Very comfortable setting and mood. A 100% legitimate massage session, one of the best I have have experienced. While not the most convenient location for me, I absolutely intend on repeat service

I work long hours at a computer, and several times a week I do martial arts. This combination can be hard on the back, neck and joints. I was very uncomfortable, so I made an appointment to see Cait. After asking a few questions and listening very carefully to my answers, she gave me a slow, thoughtful massage that was was exactly what I needed. I've had many massages before, some OK and some excellent, and this one was unusually effective. I'm looking forward to going back.

I scheduled an hour session with Cait a few weeks ago. I am an avid runner, climber and athlete. I work out probably 10 times per week. I also have a high pressure and high profile professional position. As a result I am frequently sore and pretty beat-up. Cait was wonderful. She was conversational, she was professional, she took the time to learn what I needed. Her massage is completely legitimate. Her massage is also excellent. I highly recommend her. And, the massage took longer than the hour, I did not feel rushed or hurried at all.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I'm always attending online or in person seminars and have a licensed massage therapist tutor me in different techniques. Also, if any clients are interested in trying a type of massage, I will go out of my way to learn it.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Finding a freelance massage therapist or going to someone who owns their own business will usually result in a much better experience than going to a spa. I've had clients tell me that spas can be very impersonal and just want to get you in and out, quickly as possible. Someone who is working for themselves however, will take the time to get you know you and your body, ultimately resulting in a better massage experience.
