FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
At UPenn Saige studied how design affects social life. She is strongly in-tuned with how a room can encourages positive energy flow and therefore nourishing relationships. A well designed space in an office can influence the productivity levels and overall moral of the environment, the same is true at home. Mia comes from a Visual Studies background from Tyler School of Art and her focus centers around form and function. She is strongly drawn to Zen minimalist design and she often points out that the shortest distance between two points is a straight line. When Saige and Mia both finished school they realized that combining these two styles is really the best way to create a warm and efficient home. "We got into design so we could share our "Dual Natures" with others so we can all live in our happiest and healthiest homes!"

- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We recently completed a 5 bedroom apartment at The Barclay in Rittenhouse Square. The space itself was breathtaking with beautiful views. Our clients were moving out of their long-time home in the suburbs into the city, and this move was a big change for them and their family. We were really grateful to be apart of making their transition as seamless as possible. We had a very short deadline between move-in day and Thanksgiving so we worked tirelessly to make this new space feel home. By the time their kids came back from college on Thanksgiving Day their rooms were all designed specifically with them in mind. Our client called us the next day and told us that all of her guests were amazed at how quickly they had moved in and how beautiful everything looked. We were so happy with the feedback and to have been a part of this very special transition.
