FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My Wedding Officiant pricing is simple. For a single, reasonable fee I provide 3 sessions of premarital counseling, I attend the wedding rehearsal to help answer logistical and practical questions and to ensure that you are fully prepared for the ceremony, and I perform your wedding ceremony. I will remain available to you to provide personal and/or relationship counseling (at my then current standard rate) if you should find it useful in the future. For wedding venues 50 miles or more from Zip Code 19103 I request travel reimbursement of $0.50 per mile (beginning with mile 50) for travel and reimbursement for food and/or lodging.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Following an initial telephone contact to make an appointment I like to meet face-to-face with my customers to learn more clearly what they want and to mutually discern if we are "right for each other." If either party decides that we do not want to proceed any further, then the initial meeting is free of charge. If we agree to work together, then the next step is to establish an appropriate schedule and framework for the work there is to do.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BA in Psychology from The Ohio State University MS in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Neumann University MDiv from Episcopal Divinity School Coursework in Modern Psychoanalysis from the Philadelphia School of Psychoanalysis
