- How did you get started doing this type of work?
For what seemed like forever, I had no idea what I really wanted to do with my life: but then I was lucky enough to read a book that sparked my interest in alternative dietary theories(Skinny Bitch), which lead me down the path to research more for myself and actually lead me to the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I continued to learn about diet and lifestyle trends and truly fell in love with the idea of healthy clean eating, moderate exercise and smart lifestyle choices being the key to health and happiness.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Simply put: I work with each client differently but most commonly clients need their diets and lifestyles evaluated and changed to fit their health and wellness goals.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently worked with a client who was struggling with weight issues, inflammation and high cholesterol. After only two months this client of mine had made all of the necessary dietary changes, increased her activity level and ultimately lost 25 pounds which she still is keeping off, has minimal to no inflammation pain and brought her cholesterol down 100 points. She's continuing to make great strides even after our sessions have ended too!
