Our instructors are highly trained dancers. With several years of experience and World Champion Titles, our instructors are the best of the best in the area. They specialize in Salsa, Mambo, Dominican Style Bachata, Ladies Styling, Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz and more. Teaching students how to dance. It can be working with someone who's never danced before or someone brushing up on their skills. I enjoy helping people grow and reach their full potential.

Darlin is an amazing instructor, who truly knows how to separate the basics for a beginner from the moves of an advanced dancer. He is patient, fun, creative, and I love taking classes each week with him. There is always something new to learn and that is what dancing for me is all about. I have only taken classes since the beginning of December, but I have already learned so much technique, turn patterns, and footwork and I'm excited to see what else his classes will have in store for my dancing in the future.

Ive had the honor of training with Darlin Garcia on and off for a few years now and have also trained with many others in other styles of dance and i can honestly say nothing else compares. Not only does he offer you the best environment and technique in Philadelphia but many other well trained instructors. Working with Darlin Garcia opened a lot of doors for my ability as a dancer and to grow. He is patient but also pushes you to where he feels you need to be. Being apart of Art in Motion is like being in a big family weather you apart of one of the teams or just a student. How did you get started doing this type of work?
Darlin Garcia, Art In Motion Dance Academy Owner and Director, was an Architect for several years. His passion for dancing grew and as time went by, he continued to train and travel. He finally decided to pursue his passion of dancing full time and has been doing so ever since. With over 13 years of experience, Darlin has become one of the top male instructors in Philadelphia and the Tri-State area.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We teach a variety of different lessons. We do group lessons, private lessons, workshops and more. We also choreograph dances for Weddings, Sweet 16's and more.
