Kristin Santos is the owner of Strive Strong Training. She is a certified personal trainer and nutritional consultant through the National Personal Training Institute (NPTI). She trains at Pep Boys Corporate Headquarters and East Falls Fitness in Philadelphia. Kristin focuses her training on overall lifestyle changes with functional movements and progressions in the gym combined with valuable nutritional guidance.

I worked with Kristin as part of a New Year Resolution to myself to take my core and overall strength “up a notch” in 2012. I was also looking to regain a better sense of balance. As a 50 something, I quickly came to realize that Kristin wasn’t working from a training “template”, but was truly listening to my concerns and limits imposed by wear and tear and some injuries incurred many years ago. After just several sessions I began to realize the results I was looking for. Kristin knew how to challenge and develop my core while increasing my overall strength and balance. Without a doubt Kristin has the knowledge to work with the middle age and older adult that is looking to build strength, endurance and ultimately increase their physical longevity. Thank you Kristin! I had put off working out for several months, after sustaining a back/neck injury. I was reluctant to go back to the gym for fear of a relapse. I knew that when I did go back, it would have to be with a highly-skilled, personal trainer who would be able to get me in shape while still considering my injury. I've been working out with Kristin for several months now, and she really paid attention to my concerns. She’s been great about working with me on my goals and helps in all areas, strength, cardio, and food plans. I highly recommend Kristin because you can tell she loves what she does and cares about her clients.

I am almost 64 years old now. I have been working with Kristin for approximately 3 years. I needed to get back into shape to keep up with my grandchildren. She has assisted me with nutrition and an exercise program that has helped me lose weight, reduce my cholesterol, and reduce my blood pressure. She offers great advice; is pleasant and cordial; and designs an exercise program to meet one's individual needs and goals. I would highly recommend her.

I have had the pleasure of working out with Kristin for the past 3 to 4 years. My body has defintely changed for the better. I used to really dread exercising/working out. Kristin makes it fun, yet challenging! I really look forward to working out. I remember just how weak my left side was in the beginning, but after working out with Kristin, I see a huge difference in the strength on my left side. Kristin mixes it up, meaning, variations in exercises so the body doesn't plateau. I have lost 15 to 20 pounds since working out with Kristin. Thank you Kristin for everything that you have done for me. You're the BEST!!

Kristin is one of a kind. She motivates me every single time I need it. I've lost 70lbs and lowered my blood pressure since I've been with her over the past 6 months. My doctor was so happy she hugged me. After every workout I've done with Kristin I've felt like I've accomplished something. I feel good overall and I have a different mentality about working out. I have confidence that I will keep improving. I am beyond grateful to Kristin for helping me.
