- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first lesson is always free and meant to get a better sense of your level of experience and preferred learning style. After that, lessons will likely involve a combination of method-book material, repertoire, and exercises for theory, ear-training, and piano technique. We'll do lots of improvisation to help expand creativity and reinforce key concepts and techniques.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
- B.M. in Piano Performance (Summa cum Laude) from Arizona State University (2020), in the studio of Dr. Baruch Meir, Bösendorfer Artist and director of the USASU International Piano Competition. - 18 years of piano lessons and performance experience. - 12 years of lessons in the studio of Dr. Jacquelyn Helin, Steinway Artist. - Teaching piano for Mobile Music LLC since September 2022.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with beginner and early-intermediate level students, ages 4-29.
