- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a free 30min intro lesson to get to know each other and make sure I am a good fit for you!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In our intro lesson, I'll first ask a few questions to get to know a little more about you and your musical interests and goals. This will help shape our lessons and give me a better sense of what skills you'd like to develop. Then we'll spend a little time making music to give me a sense of where you are musically (including complete beginner!) and what we should start working on in our first official lesson.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a music teacher in public, private and charter schools for the past 12 years and have been teaching private lessons off and on during that time as well. I have worked with a variety of ages (preschool, elementary, middle/high, college, and adult) and skill levels, although my focus is primarily beginner to intermediate. I have also been a professional musician during that time and am currently getting my Master's in Education.
