- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For portrait photography, we have an initial investment of $250 for an on location shoot at a location of the clients choosing. This covers travel and time to an on location photo shoot, equipment rentals, lighting assistant, and reserving your specific date. Because we only offer high quality, archival products, prints and digitals are purchased separately. $550 Session fee includes the above, plus 1 hour of professional studio time, hair and makeup artist at the client's disposal.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before working with a client, upon initial contact we set up a pre consultaion to see exactly what the client is looking for as far as services and end product, and also to ensure that we are the right fit for their needs. Not everyone is a good fit for each other, and its especially important for professionals to realize this and take into consideration. Once we ensure we will work well with a client, we schedule the actual session and services that will be rendered, the client pays the session fee. During shooting sessions, we work closely with the client to put them at ease, and make sure everything they want is covered. 1-2 weeks later, we meet again with the client for a proofing session where the client decides on and orders final products. Products are then ordered with expedited shipping, and we hand deliver them to our clients (if possible!)
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Ive been personally taking photographs since I was in 6th grade. I continued through college and decided to make my hobby my profession in 2012.
