Introduction
I've been a landlord for over 10 years. I manage, repair and maintain my own properties and also rehab houses regularly. Several years ago I realized I really love painting, and out of that was born Evolution Painting! Painting can really transform a space in a way other decor and enhancements cannot, and I get so much joy seeing my clients so happy with the results!
I am very experienced with all your Philly walls - old and new, plaster or drywall. I have extensive experience in wall repair, wallpaper removal, and painting of all kinds. I love helping my clients find the perfect product for the job and advising them on methods for best results and continued maintenance. I'm detail oriented yet move quickly, and I love working with my clients to understand exactly what they want and need, and then deliver. Kat was fabulous! She worked with me to revise the scope of project to get the basics of what I needed within my budget.
After a crummy wallpaper install (by myself and then another Thumbtacker), Kat came swooping in to bring it all down and prime the walls so I could start fresh.
She was on top of communication. She was helpful and clearly experienced and knowledgable. She even offered to come back to touch up something extra. I would not hesitate to hire her again for any number of tasks. You will not be disappointed!

Kat was so helpful and lovely to work with! She responded promptly, came out for an estimate and got right to work after we selected a day time. Kat was very thorough in removing some stubborn wallpaper (from the 1960s), patched up areas that needed some TLC and sanded everything so I could start painting. I would definitely work with her again!

I just moved into a new place and some of the walls were in bad shape and the paint job was awful. Kat and her colleague came right on time and the place looks amazing now. She's such a pleasure to deal with and cleans up everything at the end! highly recommend.
