We are going to be soon parents and we wanted to have a basement ready so we were excited to have drop ceiling installed. The job was taken up by Micheal Falace, not only the workmanship was poor and the part of it collapsed (right in front of me, thankfully I was not under it but inches away), but the communication was constantly very unprofessional. Even though it is mentioned in the contract they will redo any work within 6 months, they did not respond to us for a week after scheduling an appointment and failing to show up on scheduled time. They are very disrespectful of people’s time and never show up on time or keep postponing every single appointments, even when we mentioned we have other schedules to attend to. We tried to be very accommodating and some days we waited the entire day and followed up just for him to say, “I can’t make it today”. I have several work done through Thumbtack professionals and have never been treated so unprofessionally that it felt emotionally draining. But this was a truly horrible experience and we wanted to share so that nobody else goes through the same process, especially when your money and safety as well peace of mind is at stake. Please stay away from this contractor.
