- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is hourly, and there is a $75 minimum fee per job. Purchases are billed to customers, with shopping time added to the hourly fee. Discounts are available for larger projects.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will contact you to verify a time convenient for you, and ask any questions about the project and necessary materials. I'll pick up necessary materials, and will contact you the day before to reconfirm the appointment. I can send a reminder text/call prior to arrival. After work has been performed it will be available for your inspection and approval. You will be billed and copies of receipts are available. I am finished when you are happy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My grandfather was a contractor and my first skills with tools were honed helping him to build pools, basketball and tennis courts. My father build the home we grew up in, and I frequently would be recruited to help. During high school and college, my summers were spent on a crew operated by a neighbor. With that foundation, I've continued to learn by doing.
