John M. says, "Let's begin with contacting Michael via Thumbtack and him responding quickly. We initially contacted a few wedding photographers and none actually responded, but Michael. We are from Virginia and our wedding was in Pittsburgh, PA. We met Michael in person and, after we agreed on all the details, we set up the time for the tryout session before the wedding. When we got together at the point we started chatting, he asked about how our relationship started and such, while taking pictures, so the whole process felt very organic. It all ended, with a champagne toast which was perfectly captured in the pics. The wedding weekend. Michael was there on Saturday for our welcoming cocktails, capturing fun moments of us, our guests and the singer/musician. Next day, he was there for our ceremony and reception. Once again, Michael was fantastic, not only taking pictures but also being gracious, attentive, and professional. As a result, we have many beautiful moments captured from our special day to include a fabulous rainbow that appeared right before our ceremony. We received so many compliments regarding our wedding pictures from our friends and family ,many complimenting Michael on the same essential points - how easy going and pleasant he was. Thank you Michael for your professionalism, skill, and personality. You were a dream to deal with and if we could give more then 5 stars we would. Carrie was just amazing from the start to the end. As it was my first photoshoot, I was very nervous. However, Carrie patiently guided and communicated with me about postures and expressions that look flattering on me. She truly cares about the photos, even if it means getting muddy for an outdoor shoot. Even after the shoot, she talked with me extensively on what photos that I would like to represent me and helped me choose the perfect portfolio. Overall, as a first-time model, I truly don't think I could have had a better experience. Thoroughly professional, yet very personal experience.
