- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing all depends on how long you want me to keep your pet, if I must travel to you there may be a small fee for traveling expenses if you are very far away. If your pet destroys my home or decides my home is a toilet there will be fees. There are discounts if I get a customer who really needs a professionals help and has to come a distance to me for my services. I am a understanding person and we can work out some prices together in our messages, the price I send is not always final. If I pet sit for a week, you will not be charged an hourly rate, the price for that is usually set.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With a new customer I expect to exchange phone numbers with them in case of an emergency with their pet. I can contact them and if they have any worries, concerns, questions or demands they can contact me and we can come to an agreement. I like to have at least 5 minutes with your pet alone to see how they behave and interact with others if I’ll be taking your pet to my home or walking them in a public place.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started walking and watching my grandparents dogs and taking care of my great grandmothers cat while I was at their houses visiting for a couple days. I’ve always loved it and never forgot to keep them happy and spoil them rotten because I enjoy their company.
