FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices apply to portrait and engagement shoots only. For additional information regarding wedding services, please check out socials for a link to my website!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
"I'm not good at having my picture taken" is something I hear *all* the time, but the fact is this: it's almost always not true! We always encourage our clients to trust the process, but a way to help that is to get to know your photographer. I love local coffee shops around the 'Burgh (bonus if I've never been there before), and I love meeting up with new clients before a shoot, so it's a perfect match. Trusting the process ultimately means trusting the photographer, and removing that weirdness over coffee is a great first step!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
This totally dates me, but, before phones had cameras, I was the friend that always carried a little compact digital camera, but it wasn't until I hit college that I thought, "Hey, I'm always doing fun photoshoots with friends, why don't I go into fashion photography?" So I began my lessons in the fashion industry and photography. When I shot my eventually-to-be sister-in-law's ceremony on the Mount Washington Overlook as a favor, however, that's when I began to realize, "Wait, maybe I like this?" Since then, I've directed and photographed creative portrait shoots, and I've shot many more weddings, including studying under several other professional photographers in the area.
