Reading is a vital part of all of our lives, especially at a young age. As a certified reading tutor, my aim is to help all young readers develop reading fluency, accuracy, phonemic awareness and more using techniques and self-made curriculums based on the science of reading. I strive to help kids learn all that they can in a fun, yet proactive, one-on-one virtual environment.
I love to help multilingual learners, children with IEP/504 plans, and others who may simply need a little additional assistance. My tutoring program is geared towards addressing your child's specific needs, which can sometimes be overlooked in a classroom setting, and can set back your child's growth.
I currently have SUMMER availability with a discounted price available Monday through Saturday. I'd love to work with you and map out where to begin in our reading journey to ensure we make as much progress as possible in our time together!

Autumn M. provides high quality tutoring based on auditing some of my child's sessions as a fly on the wall. She uses her time efficiently, tactfully realigning my child's focus whenever they tend to go on tangents that aren't necessarily germane to the tutored subject (they have special needs / intellectual disabilities). Even so, my child reports only good things after each and every session. My child's grades have exceeded my expectations and I cannot recommend Autumn M. enough to my friends and their children.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $50.00 per hour or $25.00 per half hour, and lessons are billed on a monthly basis.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every child is unique! I cater to the specific issues or struggles of each of my students. I believe it is very important to get to know your students before assuming what they should be taught depending on age or grade level. During the first one or two lessons, I’ll provide assessments that will help me decide where to start on our individual learning journey together. It’s very important to me for my students and I to be on the same page, and my goal is for them to benefit from our lessons as much as they possibly can.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have extensive trained experience on Scarborough’s Rope: the science of reading. I teach reading virtually to students during school hours who are based all over the U.S. I am looking to extend my work to after school, at home lessons, as well!
