- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I've never had a difficult time establishing setting up a project with a customer. All I need to know is the location and showtime, and I'll handle the rest! The day of the show, I'll need a small area (approx. 10ftx10ft is nice) and a single receptacle/extension cord. No problem!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In addition to my years of performance experience, I have an undergraduate degree in Opera Performance and Classical Composition from the Sunderman Conservatory at Gettysburg College.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
One of the best pieces of advice I received from a teacher was "If you can see yourself doing anything but music, do that instead." Turns out... I couldn't! I've been playing saxophone, violin, and singing since elementary school and could never say no to an opportunity to perform. After graduating college with a degree in Opera Performance and Classical Composition, I started appearing at bars and restaurants for more opportunities to spend making music with people. Many amazing shows later, here we are!
