Hire Dan, you will not be disappointed! I could not be more pleased with the quality of work and how pleasant and easy to work with Dan is. I found him very knowledgeable and competent about what he does. He arrived as he said he would, and completed the job quickly and efficiently in the time estimated. His quote was also right on. I am busy making a list to have him come back and do some more work in the house. Dan remodeled a small bedroom to be use as an office. He changed it from a deep color to a fresh light peach and blue. He took the needed steps to get a smooth, even coverage. He added a room fan, where there was no fixture, removed wall-to-wall carpet, and installed a laminate wood floor. He was careful to cover the entryway and stairs as they were going in and out in the winter weather. He accommodated a couple of unexpected little extra things that came up while he was here. I really am loving my new room and will continue to hire Dan as needs arise.
Michael did a great job installing wood trim in my basement. He was very professional and showed up on time. I would definitely recommend him and his services.
Repair of stair banister inside and repair of trim around the garage door. We were very pleased with the work that was done in a timely fashion and a reasonable estimate I would recommend using this company for your household repairs Dan was a pleasure to work with
We had an urgent need to have our subfloor in our main bathroom replaced. Matt understood the urgency and responded quickly to our needs. In addition to replacing the subfloor, he laid new ceramic tile, replaced the baseboard heat registers as well as the bathroom door. All work was completed within 3 days. Matt also presented suggestions from his experience that enhanced the look of the bathroom. Matt and his team were professional and always cleaned up the work area thoroughly at the end of each day. I would highly recommend M.J.S. Construction.
Jim was called in to remove some freestanding cabinetry, demolish a chest-high room parition, and replace the vinyl tiles beneath both in a commercial setting. Jim was very responsive, both visiting us and givingus an estimate within 24 hours. He was also able to schedule to do the work within 24 hours of our agreeing to the estimate. Leaving virtually no mess, the cabinetry and partition were removed and the floor seemlessly repaired in about eight hours. He didn't mark up materials and his rates are very affordable. I would happily recommend Jim for both demolition and construction work. He was knowledgeable, responsive, efficient, and fairly priced.
Neiko was prompt with his response, turned the job around quickly, and produced what appears to be a great product. I had railings made for my front porch stairs, and Neiko's design fits perfectly with the style of the house. I am very satisfied with his work.
Pete added a metal railing on our existing rails. He is a true artist and welder. Great experience and excellent job!
Third Generation Welding updated our stainless stair rail with cables and end fittings, breaking down the entire rail and building it back up from scratch. Greg was extremely professional and clearly an expert at his craft. He took on a challenging project and through his experience and creative thinking gave us a beautifully finished project.
Paul has done a variety of work in and around our old home. Recently he repointed our chimney and back wall of our home. It looks seamless with the existing mortar. Very well done. A few years ago he removed a leaking skylight from our mudroom and put on a new roof. On the interior he framed the space where the skylight was and sheet rocked the area, you would never know there was a window. Excellent work. Paul is a very friendly and hard working contractor. He is timely and will not up charge, his pricing is competitive but fair. He is honest and trustworthy. We highly recommend him and will use him again for future needs.
Phil did a good job and has many skills. His rates are reasonable. He fixed some broken grout on an outdoor entrance step; removed the grout and did caulking on a shower floor (which stopped a leak into the ceiling below) and sealed the grout; repaired the ceilings where there had been leaks; repaired the shower door so it closes correctly; installed a peephole and dimmer switch; and fixed a loose ceiling vent and a closet door that was loose on the hinges.
Tony came in for a door replacement job and he ended up refinishing the stairs in our home as well. He has a great can do "no problem" attitude. His prices are reasonable and he will not call the job complete until you are satisfied. We have several projects to complete in the future and plan to use him for all of them. I recommend him without reservation.
We hired Pinoworks to totally renovate a highly dated 3bedroom/2bath condo. Mr. Pino helped from the visonary stages to the smallest details of design. He opened up an alley kitchen into a countertop seating arrangement. He installed all new countertops and marble window sills. He replaced all the woodwork around the doors and floor molding. He installed new hardwood flooring, bathroom vanities and plumbing. He was flexible to work with my ideas and he was equally creative about offering new ideas. He meticulously painted the entire condo. He worked at a very timely manner, his quote was very reasonable and he cleaned up his work space and cared for the furniture daily. I recommended him to many friends who were also pleased with his work.
Tom was both responsive to and flexible with me regarding my project. Because I ended up providing the paint for the job (the cost of which had been included in his estimate), he graciously helped me with a small repair job unrelated to the project he was hired for, and called it square. He was thoughtful about what it would take to get the job done, beyond simply constructing the shelves he was contracted for—ensuring we'd be able to get the pre-built shelves up our narrow staircase before committing to build them in one piece; noting where trim would have to be altered, finding out of we had remnants of that trim on-hand to complete the job with (fortunately, we did) rather than just assuming we didn't and purchasing new as-close-as-he-could-find-to-matching materials; adding a central row of shelf supports at my request when I expressed concern about the potential bowing of the long, thin shelves over time due to the weight I expected the shelves to carry; working carefully within a somewhat confined space to avoid causing peripheral damage. The installation was prompt and professional. I'm no expert in the average price of hiring a personal contractor for a small job, but his price seemed fair, and workmanship commendable.
Michael helped me deassemble my sofa in order to fit through my stairways. He is professional, prompt and has great communication skills. He also showed up on time and knew exactly what to look for. I highly recommend him and will definitely hire him again in the future. Thank you Michael !
I would definitely recommend Eric and his crew. They were extremely professional, friendly and easy to work with. The work on our stair railing was quick and fantastic. It looks even better than we were expecting!. We plan on using them again when we re do our kitchen floors!
Exceptionally high quality. Planning on further work soon. Did what they said in the time allowed explain things Cleaned up afterward!
JR, owner of Fulmer Designs, designed and installed our new master bathroom and I couldn't be happier! He was professional, timley, and priced competitively. We've used him in the past for other projects, and I will continue both hire and refer him!
We hired Jeff to install wall paneling in our basement. He did a lovely job and left the place immaculate when he was finished. Will hire Jeff again in a heart beat :)
We were extremely pleased with the product and service from Twisted Concepts. We needed an exterior railing installed to meet Norristown code requirements and Twisted Concepts was extremely accommodating. They got the railings built and installed quickly and on time, Joe (I believe that was his name) even added some very nice embellishments. Our railings now make our neighbors' railings look like chumps. I would not hesitate to call Twisted Concepts for any future projects.
