Emergency Medical Training is a non-profit organization, serving Central Pennsylvania for over 5 years. During that time we have trained and built relationships with over 10,000 professionals and citizens. Currently, we have over 170 certified, qualified trainers, many who have retained their relationship year after year with us. We continue to grow as we get licensed in other States and Townships with the opening of 2016.
We train in a state of the art training center located at 3933 Perkiomen Avenue, Exeter Township, Reading, PA. or we will come to your business or company as on-site professionals.
I really wanted a job that I enjoyed and that gave me a purpose in life. I love CPR training because I get to work with all different age groups and teach them the necessary skills to one day save a life. I consider myself extremely lucky and it brings me so much happiness when someone says to me that they saved a life because of what I taught them. There is no better feeling.

Stephanie and William came to our location to train our entire staff in CPR and FirstAid. We learned a lot of information and everyone enjoyed the class. It was an interactive learning experience. The trainers were friendly, energetic, and knowledgeable. They took the time to answer all of our questions. We would definitely recommend them.

Stephany is a true professional. She is dedicated, thoughtful, and detailed when assessing patients. She is highly skilled at patient care. She demonstrates the same skills as an administrator. (Especially the detail) She is an outstanding teacher. She has the ability to recognize what medical training would be the most efficient for a small office or larger corporate. Stephany has been my partner as an EMT with 911 and medical transport patients. I have also assisted her with first-aid, CPR, and AED training seminars. They, particularly Stephanie Griffith, have been there to answer any questions I have about their requirements for certification, how they want to proceed with paperwork, etc. I never have to wait for an answer and they trust that my abilities and that my classroom is in order. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All of our pricing can be found on our website.
There is quite a list of different courses as well as different methods to taking the courses. I like to offer a variety because each student learns differently and I like that people have a choice over how they are going to learn the information. I believe this makes a big difference in the outcome of how much they learned as well as how much they will retain from the course.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Whether it's a new customer or a returning customer, my process is simple. I find out what their needs are and than I adapt my schedule in order to get them the certification they need.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My current certification include EMT-B (PA Dept of Health) since 2008, AHA BLS HCP Instructor since 2010, HeartSaver Instructor 2010, AHA Training Center Coordinator 2012. I also volunteer for a local ambulance company that gives me plenty of street experience which helps me teach real life scenarios to my students
