FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Hand Caning is charged by the number of weaving holes. Rush and other seating materials are charged by the inch as measured on the widest side, usually across the front of a seat (measuring the material only). Structural repairs are priced individually. Regluing loose joints is included in any restoration work, but can be priced separately.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I restore primarily hand cane and rush chairs. I also reglue loose joints in furniture and restore some structural problems with chairs. I have also worked on wood splint furniture.
