Refreshing that a contractor confirmed appointment the day before and arrived when scheduled. Frank did a great job installing my porcelain tile wall liner. He was very meticulous and neat.
Cliff did every remodel job we had had done to our home since we first hired him in 2001. Some of the projects were: New kitchen cabinets sink and appliances Extra bath in the basement Remodel of the basement and utility room Move washer and dryer from utility room to the 2nd floor Installation of hardware floors in all rooms replacing wall to wall carpet total remodel of the master bath that included installing a skylight Ceramic tile installation in front foyer and all bathrooms Countless maintence projects too numerous to mention Cliff's work is is awesome. He has exceeded our expectations with all the work he has done. We won't even consider using anyone else. Cliff is the ultimate professional. He is meticulous, thorough and pays attention to the details.
Bruce did a good job on our mosaic back-splash installation. The project was complicated with the type of mosaic (glass tiles and aluminum tiles of varying sizes) and with many outlets and objects to work around on the wall. Bruce showed up on time for the estimate and the project and was a conscientious worker on the details. Bruce was also very friendly and personable and pleasant to have working on our project. We are pleased with the result of the work. The job probably should have been split into two full days of work rather than one day and an evening as the grout installation was a bit rushed and could have used a little more attention. Overall we are pleased with Bruce's efforts and would consider him for future projects.
Working with Groutsmith was an very satisfying experience from start to finish. The estimate was quick and much less than what I expected. Groutsmith showed up on time on the day the work was scheduled and finished in a timely manner. Groutsmith did a fantastic job restoring my tile and grout. My tile looks better than when it was new in 1988. They cleaned up after themselves and left my house looking better than when they came. Cudos to Brad Young and his team at Groutsmith.
Matt was a great handyman and helped with a number of more complex projects including repairing tile in the bathroom, calking the tub, grouting the bricks outside and repairing our window above the kitchen sink, refinishing our front door and several other projects. We were very happy with him.
Travis and his crew did a super job helping us get our house in tip top shape for resale. Along with some siding and flashing repair/replacement, Travis also replaced an interior door, installed gutter protection, and painted our laundry room floor and walls. Rates were extremely competitive and work was done on time with thorough clean up. I'll definitely use Tri-Capital again in our new home.
Steve has replaced the front entrance door and 5 bedroom windows and also a bow window for the living room. He also placed some ceramic tile in the front entrance. Steve does amazing work, takes time and is very meticulous with everything he does.
My basement floor, size approximately 435 sq. ft., needed leveled. The floor height varied up to five and six inches toward the center. It sloped downward toward the drain in the front and back upward toward the front wall. The floor was painted concrete from at least 50 years ago, and in a few spots the concrete was slightly chipped and cracked. The rear of the basement had a slight slope but was not as drastic as the front part. I had cement contractors suggesting to break up only the front half of the existing concrete and pour new concrete. I also had another flooring contractor willing to pour the leveling compound Ardex. Cost for the Ardex job would have been $3,200, but that was for using only twenty-five 50# bags of Ardex. If I needed any more bags of Ardex, I would have to assume the cost after the first 25 bags at a cost of $60.00 per bag. I was very reluctant to do this. I found Bamm Flooring and Construction with a very good rating and called them. Tony Georgevich said he could use Quikrete Concrete Mix for leveling, as long as I covered the finished floor with either slate, ceramic or porcelain tile. Tony, Adrian and Ray did an excellent job. They worked for about two weeks from 7:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The floor still had some unevenness. However, it was 95% improved. They ended up using over 117 bags of 60# Quikrete @ $2.78/bag. I was so glad I did not use the Ardex product. After this leveling was complete, they laid the tile. This floor required 30 cartons of Brazilian Slate Porcelain. My basement floor is such an improvement that I actually love working in it now. Tony is a perfectionist and you can tell he is proud of his work. I would recommend this company for any flooring job, regardless of the difficulty. After they finished the floor, I asked if Adrian could help me unclog my gutters and insert gutter guards, which he did. Overall, I am very happy with the job that these guys did and would call on them again for flooring or other household projects.
Charles remodeled the kitchen in our small Brookline home. We were most impressed by the quickness and cleanliness of the demolition process. Charles went above and beyond to assist us with choosing the perfect tile for the backsplash and floor. Charles showed up on time every day of the renovation and did a spectacular job in reference to the quality of work. We are ecstatic over our new kitchen.
We've used Scott from Premier Home Improvement for several remodeling jobs in our home. He did a great job with our kitchen makeover including a new laminate floor, ceramic tile backsplash, window framing and painting. He also put in new basement entry doors and new windows for us. We couldn't be more pleased. Scott is very meticulous and his prices are reasonable. We're happy to know a contractor we can trust and who does quality work.
What started as painting kitchen cabinets developed into painting the kitchen walls two colors, repairing walls where needed, painting the living room, dining room and stairwell, as well as installing a dishwasher! Now we are waiting for new hardwood counters, and a custom upholstered banquette seat.....plus!
Tile bathroom flooring and chimney sealing. Very reliable, responsible and professional contractor.
Chadd and Way Maker Solutions performed the tile work in my new bathroom. The tile consisted of the floor, all the walls and the ceiling, including the tub surround and shower. The work was completed in a timely manor and the end results are outstanding. The price was reasonable for the work involved. Chadd was in communication on a daily basis and offered suggestions on how to make the design better. I am satisfied with their work.
Recently had National Aquisitions do a few repairs on my home. They repaired my ceramic tile and cupboards, installed shelving and dead bolt locks, and replaced a damaged baseboard. I was so happy to find someone that could do all of the things I needed done at one time. Everything was done perfectly and he cleaned everything up before he left, like he was never here! Definitely reccomend!!
Andrew does wonderful work at excellent prices! I highly recommend him for big and small jobs. If it's broken, he can fix it. If you want to remodel, he knows how to do it. Polite, pleasant and professional. Neat and trustworthy - completes things the right way, not just the easy way. Fast and efficient. Always returns calls and provides solutions or suggestions. Not a smoker. I am a past and recent customer. He has remodeled 2 bathrooms (plumbing, floors, fixtures, paint), hung doors, replaced woodwork, laid tile, updated light fixtures, sealed skylights, checked roofing, and done miscellaneous repairs at my house. I will definitely hire him again.
