FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I get asked periodically to assist other contractors with their projects so I am constantly getting new hands-on experience all the time.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
For a recent client, I did the following repairs: I repaired a leaking shower drain that was staining a first floor ceiling. I opened the ceiling, repaired the leak, patched drywall and painted. For that same client, I replaced a sticking toilet handle, tightened a loose bathroom faucet handle, repaired a leaking exterior door threshold and a leaky kitchen p-trap, replaced a faulty light switch, treated for mice in the attic, corrected problems with the rain gutters and repaired a grill. (A few weeks after writing that paragraph, the same client hired me to do a complete remodel of their condo in Baltimore which included drywall work, electrical, plumbing, counter top and backsplash.)
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I am a one-person business so most of the projects I accept can be accomplished by a single individual in a relatively short period of time. If I feel the project is too large for me to complete, we can break it down into smaller individual projects or I can recommend to seek out another contractor.
