I called and spoke with the owner, he was very responsive. The movers showed up early and ready to go. The move went quickly and without any issues. Everything was fully communicated throughout the move. My move was simple and stress-free, thanks Piccolo Friendly Movers!

I would give them a 10 star if I could. Everyone who was here is extremely friendly and professional. Chuck’s stacking skill is on point. Not a single scratch on any furniture or the wall. I was really concerned for our 85inch tv’s without original box but they have wrapped it with blankets and handle very carefully. Thank you so much Chuck, Jeff and the team.

Piccolo's is top notch. Ian, Mike, Eric and Stephen arrived right on time the morning of my move and worked so quickly. They completed the job in half the time, actually! I have a lot of boxes which is frustrating for me to move, but they took care of it all with a smile. They are, indeed, friendly! They listened to me about what was going and staying, where it should go in my new home and assembled my beds where I wanted them. And they left no trace on the walls that they'd been there, which in my experience is almost unheard of. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you, guys! You made a really stressful situation so much easier. I'll definitely call Piccolo's in the future. I highly recommend them for your moving needs.

The owner is responsive and accommodating. We were scheduled for 4 guys, but only 3 could make it that day; they were able to find a replacement only an hour into the move, which made the whole thing go very smoothly. The movers were friendly, careful, and efficient. They did everything they said they would and took a few things I didn't even consider they may be able to, like a fully loaded filing cabinet from the basement! Overall, we had a wonderful experience and I would recommend them to anyone. Great job!

Most of the guys were hard workers (with one exception), and most were polite and professional (with one exception-different guy). That said-- if you have expensive stuff, find someone else. They dropped a number of things (one of the problems: no one was holding onto stuff as they were bringing the truck lift up and down), they busted an interior door (it doesn't close bc they splintered it at the edge closest to the hinges), they dragged a piece of furniture making marks across a wood floor (and then they lied about it to my husband, except I watched them do it), and they nicked a couple of walls (we had a big bookshelf going upstairs, so the tiny nicks were understandable). When we called about the damaged stuff, the owner said his guys didn't do it, and that they were supposed to do a walk-through of the house with us at the end (they didn't). All in all, I'm glad my stuff was moved and I didn't have to do it, and I'm glad I don't care much about my belongings. If you care a lot about your stuff, these folks are not the ones for you.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We have absolutely 0 "hidden" fees to your move. Mention you found us on Thumbtack for an extra discount on move day!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I need to at least speak with a potential client on the phone. It is impossible, and actually illegal, for me to book a job through email. Please call us for a free quote.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been in the moving business for almost 20 years, and almost 10 as an owner. Most of my employees have been with us 5+ years. That's saying something in this industry.
