John Roberts and AA Able Moving and Storage did a great job for me. I needed just a sleeper sofa, (queen size), moved quite a distance. There was no way I could do it or even friends and I. It was too big and heavy, and it was coming from a second floor. Furthermore, my own sleeper sofa had to be removed from my house!
John and one other man did the job and did it well. Not a scratch, rip or other damage done to my beautiful new sofa! And they took out my old one without extra charge, to boot!
John was available each time I had to call, to set up dates and times, in order to coordinate the move with the other people. He was friendly and flexible.
I would recommend John Roberts and AA Able Moving and Storage without hesitation! And, as I told him, I will be moving shortly after living in my home for 32 years. I will be calling John for help during this move!

Using Thumbtack for the first time, I needed a mover to move a very large bedroom set from one floor to another. Not only did they respond right away, they gave a flat fee that was very reasonable. They showed up the same day (as I requested) and did a great job. We're moving in May and will probably hire them again.

I hired John to help me move a mattress from my home and bring it to BJs for return. It was raining, but John still showed up that day, and he and his moving crew were very quick to pick up my mattress and box spring and bring it to the local BJs. They also provided a blanket to keep it dry. They seemed well-prepared. Finally, they also loaded the mattress onto the cart and brought it to the returns desk. I did all this within the hour. The price was also very reasonable. I would strongly recommend this company to others. I may use it in the future for my moving. They have a fairly large truck to be able to move many things.

John Roberts and his helper were fantastic! John gave me the best quote of all the respondents to my request for a mover. He also responded quickly to my phone calls, and delivered my new couch without a dent, scratch or mark. They also took my old couch out to the sidewalk for me, for no extra charge!

A great experience. John called right away and we scheduled a time. They showed up as scheduled and moved our piano. It was a difficult move outside and around the house down a gravel bank. Done easily and without complaint, although more lifting and carrying was involved. They were personable and professional.
