FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am not in the business to be a millionaire but to create memories. My equipment investments, skills, time, and knowledge plays a key role in my pricing. I have created packages that are a bit under my competitors but also allow me not to sell myself short. I do offer discounts for certain sessions and products.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
when I first meet a new client, it is important for me to be upfront about my experience and capabilities. I always ask that they visit my website to see my work before booking wanting to book me. Secondly, I try to listen and adapt to what matters the most and what role they would like me to play. Third, I love to ask questions that are relevant to the job at hand. Fourth, I give advice on certain areas if need be in order to have a successful session. I also make sure that they understand that we have to work together in order to be successful in the process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After taking time off from two years of college, I enrolled at the Community College of Rhode Island where I took intro to photography. I studied there for a semester and didn't go back because of certain circumstances. I started shadowing a photographer who was in charge of Sears department stores in the NorthEast. I learn the most valuable hand on information that I needed. I am most proud of how he interacted with his clients, and I have adapted his ways. I also self-train myself through live online tutories and also by working with other photographers and videographers. This has been one of my best life experiences ever.
