Nathaniel provided construction drawings for a patio cover so that a permit can be obtained and also satisfy wind and snow load requirements. He came out to the house, saw the area, took detailed measurements and provided professional drawings for my project. Nathaniel was always available to discuss the drawings and was flexible in accommodating our needs (which was to have the cover built with the most common material sizes while also being aesthetically pleasing). Nathaniel was great to work with and will hire him again!

Nathaniel has designed plans for two additions to our house—an apartment and a rec room, and has designed a beautiful garden in addition. He is fantastic. He has incredible attention to detail. He visited our home and talked to us over several occasions in order to determine exactly what we wanted and to make sure the new build fit well with the existing house. And he made several suggestions that we loved, and decided to incorporate. And he took the time to attend our town meeting to ask for a variance for the build, in addition to helping us find a contractor, and collaborating with him.

Nate is a fantastic architect. His knowledge of construction surpasses most. He’s a wonderful guy to work with and doesn’t over go overboard with his drawings like a lot of other architects do. If you’re looking for quality, experience/knowledge and someone who will help bring your project to life, I’d go with Nate.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a free consultation were I listen and we ask eachother questions. I provide a rough fee estimate range during the consultation. I then draft a contract based on the level of effort and service with a detailed break-down of the scope and fee schedule for signatures. A deposit is payed and then we get going towards the vision!
