I did have quite a few quotes and meet with a few contractors. In saying this, the pricing Wogbeh quoted was fair and transparent, this team was punctual and informative and I would definitely consider them for all home updates!

Michael, came through for me and renovated my 2nd floor apartment. He is very professional and was great to work with. He was always on time and finished the job when he promised. His work was excellent and his cleaned up after the job was excellent. I would definitely use him again and would recommend him to anyone. I am indeed happy with the work he did on my 2nd floor.

Part-time (Mike had a day job and hired temps who spoke a different language Mike didn't understand). Inexperienced (frequently used the wrong materials and techniques - he "face nailed" the shingles leaving every nail showing). Poor quality (I had to have another contractor re-hang every door and remove & replace >all< the trim that Mine installed. Dishonest (lied repeatedly to my face). Further untrustworthiness (the building inspector required changes that Mike never made but said he had). SCARY (Mike was physically threatening to me during our last meeting; I had my phone ready to dial 911). Absolutely horrendous job site management (he left materials >and cabinets< out in the rain, where they got damaged, left a huge debris pile on the job site, and stood on the $1,400 glass-topped range braking it). Mike's last words to me were, "may the wrath of God be on you and your family). 😱 I fired him anyway.

Details: Multiple room remodel • Kitchen • Living room • Bathroom • Already have plans - just need installation • Within the next 3 months

Wogbeh Real Estate Facility Group LLC's reply
Let me address everything point now because I’ve been busy and didn’t had the time to reply. I will start from the bottom. Peter waited until the major work were done before he chose to come up with an excuse to end the contract. The “cottage” in question was more like a run down shed from the 60’s that had been abandoned. I took the project discounted and as a favor and the crazy part was that I need to help Peter work on his plans that I wasn’t pay for and he didn’t wanted to hired an architect or engineer for. Now the I work with him on that, got the city approval, got inspections from my framing to walls and they all passed city inspections. I was managing an entire project for FREEE AS PETER REFUSED TO PAY WHICH ENDED OUR CONTRACT AND I TOLD HIM MAY GOD BE WITH HE AND HIS FAMILY. As for the debris and wasted; I took nearly 3 tons of waste from Peter property which I was paid for, as far as what in his photos that he posted was the one he wanted me to do for free. Peter hired me because he thought I would work for free and he could use me however he felt. He constantly spoke about how he knew one or two black folks which by the way is a classic thing for people who look down on others to say. He spoke about my sub contractors which were minority, people of color and Hispanic descent. There English isn’t/wasn’t the best but they worked through the heart of winter at Peter request and demand which is something that he didn’t mention in his review. When Peter started complaining of money issues to complete his project and not paying the right amount in original invoice was when the guys started to do slappy work which I personally try to correct myself, something else that he didn’t mention in his review. Peter claim that I left material outside, wasted or damaged materials but what he didn’t mention was that is was his responsibility to get those materials and make sure it were secured because he only pay me for labor which he still owe over 9000 at the end of the contract and didn’t pay. Now let me make one final thing clear.. ALL MY INSPECTIONS I SCHEDULED WITH THE BUILDING INSPECTOR DID PASS. And once again Peter, may God be with you and your family.
