From the minute I put in request with Thumbtack, Kwasi was prompt about responding and providing me a quote. My home closing kept getting pushed back and Kwasi reached out to check in on how things were progressing, rather than contacting me with annoying sales pitches. I appreciated his style in checking in on the status of my request. I purchased a home that needed alot of TLC. My hardwoods had not been touched by anything but shoes in over 20 years. I was afraid to have them quoted because of the shape they were in and questioned if laminate would be a cheaper alternative to refinishing. Kwasi was able to come out within two days of requesting quote (on a Thursday) and then started my project on a Monday. He worked diligently to ensure he finished the project within the expected timeline. More than anything, I demand reliability and hard work. Kwasi demonstrated BOTH of those qualities throughout our entire interaction. He was prompt (few minutes early on all occasions), worked 12+ hours while also hand scraping sections of floors. My floors are PERFECTION. My boyfriend is so shocked at the restoration and I am getting so many compliments from family and friends. I can NOT believe Kwasi was able to salvage them. He is a hardworking, fair young man who is working hard to build a successful company. If you need a professional, prompt, well priced, no nonsense floor person....Kwasi is your man. Kwasi and his team did an amazing job refinishing the 100+ year old pine floors in my house. He also repaired major cracks in the flooring. The floors are more beautiful than I expected! Kwasi was also very communicative and able to work around my schedule. Very happy I went with Flambeau Flooring. Thank you!

Kwasi worked very hard to get our floors done in a tight deadline, and they ended up looking fantastic! There was some sort of crystalized carpet pad that had stuck to and stained the wood, but Kwasi rescued those floors. He was very responsive and had a great attitude throughout the job.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is strictly based on square footage. I'm also very flexible with pricing knowing that everyone's financial situation is different. I'm willing to work out a deal that best fits each customer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in Architecture and engineering. This degree helped me understand how important it is to follow a system to get to a final solution. Also, how important it is to not miss many details because one detail missed can end up with bad results.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started work for my uncle and father in their business remodeling homes when I was 18 years old.
