Deb is an exceptional career coach (and exceptional human being). When I was out of work and professionally disoriented, Deb came to the rescue. By engaging me in thoughtful discussion of my core values, skills and experience, she guided me to reformulate my personal narrative and helped me articulate my professional goals. In supporting me in the development and implementation of customized job-search strategies, I found the confidence and determination to find the job I truly wanted. She was the mirror I needed to discover who I wanted to become. I could not recommend her more highly.
Anne is personable and thought-provoking. Feeling kind of lost in my career right now, Anne had me think of things in a new light as to what I am keen on in my working life.
I had interviewed two other fitness coaches before Gena and what I loved about Gena from the start was her willingness to listen and customize a plan based on my personal needs, circumstances and abilities. She coaches, encourages, checks in and keeps the experience positive providing the little extra push needed to stay focused on fitness goals that can easily be compromised with a busy to-do list.
Jim knows this profession. He coaches his daughter's lacrosse, HS football and plays sports including softball & golf. He's worked to ready me for ski season and now softball & golf. He keeps me focused & is easy to engage.
I provide psychic readings, life coaching, and groups that involve learning different types of new age and traditional support for people who want to create a better life.
Beth is an extremely intuitive coach. She simply feels into my energy and knows whats going on for me before I even know myself. Ive seen her use this technique effectively with other people. Week after week, Beth helped me see things about myself and my work that were changing, evolving and improving. These were all things I hadnt seen for myself, but they became apparent to me once she pointed them out. Beth is kind, caring and compassionate and at the same time, extremely empowering. Shell get you jump started when you need that and will remind you to be kind to yourself and take a break when necessary. I highly recommend Beth as a coach. Corinne C, Revere, MA
We are all so individual, and that makes what we all do so different, right? My work stands out partially because of my passion. This is my life's work, this is what I am here to do and be, and it shows, according to some of my clients. I have been on my personal journey of transformation for a long time, and what I have learned, where I have been, has given me such an indepth awareness of our psyche, our fears and belief systems. I feel that I can connect with whatever is going on with a person very easily.
Be your own hero. Hero (noun) is a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. "You're my hero -- me to everyone, all the time!" I'm so fortunate to spend my time surrounded by amazing humans. I'm in awe of their strength, their courage, and their awesomeness. Even when I'm not with them, I turn on the TV, scroll through Twitter or walk down the street and suddenly, I'm in awe of complete strangers (and animals with social media accounts). Seriously, humans (and Internet quadrupeds) are so cool! We live in a world chock full of heroes -- living beings that inspire us, and that we believe are worthy of our respect and total admiration, but, here's the thing. This constant focus on the heroism of others distracts us from our inner hero -- our strength, our courage, and our awesomeness. I mean, look at that cool thing that guy did! How dare we think we can do that? How dare we admit to ourselves that we are worthy of a hero status? Look at all this proof we've collected to explain why we're not cool/smart/rich/creative enough to do the things we want to do and be the people we want to be. Why should we even bother? We're not as cool as Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, and we never will be! Wah! Lies. The truth is this: We're all heroes to someone, and we really need to start being heroes to ourselves. Let's all put on our big-girl/-boy pants, tie our capes, and soar.
As a coach Jen is exceptional and incredibly talented. Her gentle, kind and genuine personality combined with a sincere and authentic passion for her profession makes her impact invaluable. Her razor-sharp questions are always delivered with a great combination of humor and hard challenges. She has a unique capability of always connecting moment to the right context and overall purpose of the coaching engagement. Jen provided the appropriate setting and guidance, which empowered me to be more authentically linked to my personal leadership vision. She guided me to reconnect with my core values and inspired me to deploy them in the right framework from a professional perspective. For that I’m forever thankful!

My coaching sessions started with Matt when I was thinking about going back to school for a degree in cello performance. I took a look at the tuition prices at all the nearby conservatories and realized I could save many thousands of dollars by putting together my own educational program. I asked Matt to help me with this process, and he has been awesome. He has provided friendly but firm encouragement through the whole process of clarifying my goals, setting my priorities, and taking specific steps towards accomplishing what I want to accomplish. I have never felt so disciplined and motivated about my cello playing, and it feels great. I cant recommend Matt enough.

Our purpose at 21 Switchbacks is to create remarkable lives. My writing asks and seeks to answer questions dealing with the following topics: Work and purpose. What does "success" really mean? How can we be more productive and fulfilled in our current work? Courage. Which risks are worth taking? How can we balance our desire to make the most of our youth with pragmatic and long-term concerns? What are we actually afraid of, anyway? Mindfulness. How can we train our minds to work for us, instead of the other way around? How can we cultivate more compassion and kindness? How can we be happier, without so many ups and downs? Life and habits. How can we get clarity about what really matters, and build each day around those priorities? How can we achieve the results we want for our relationships and health? If these are topics and questions you're thinking about, let's talk. You can also get to know me by signing up for freebies on my website or joining the 5,000+ monthly readers who subscribe to my blog posts and updates on how to live a remarkable life.
