Introduction: Ruth Van Dine, RPT owner of Ruth's Piano Service, has been providing complete piano servicing, tuning, repair and care for all makes and models of pianos since 1998 for Providence and all of Rhode Island. Ruth is a registered piano technician (RPT) of the national Piano Technicians Guild and a graduate of the 2-year advanced piano technology program offered at North Bennet Street School in Boston's North End. Ruth stays on the cutting edge of piano technology by attending classes and seminars frequently. She has been an instructor at national and regional piano technician conferences and has published in the Piano Technicians Guild Journal.

My prices are listed on my website.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After an evaluation of the instrument the customer and I decide what work will be preformed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a graduate of the North Bennet Street School (2000) I offer a full set of services for all acoustic pianos. I have the Registered Piano Technician certification from the Piano Technicians Guild. I have also trained in Polyester finish touchup, QRS and Pianodisc servicing.
