Hello my name is Ian . I have worked in the maintenance/home improvement industry for 30 years . I specialize in small jobs that most other contractors are not interested in doing . I believe in being on time and communicating with my customers. My number one goal is to make sure you are satisfied with every aspect of the job you hire me to do . I will always be honest ,fair , and forthright with my clients .
Some of the jobs I do most frequently are :
- ceiling fan /light installation
-carpet removal
-painting,drywall repair
-art installation/picture hanging
-lock installation/troubleshooting
-deck repair
-plumbing work related to toilets/garbage disposals/sinks
-electrical repair pertaining to light fixtures/outlets/and switches
These are just some of the jobs I do . If you hire me I promise you will be satisfied. I do a lot of work for property managers as well as homeowners. I will even come over just to change a light bulb . Don’t fall off a ladder when you can call a pro .
Update: In response to a bad review I want to say I treat all my customers home as I would my home or a family members home. Im a one man company and sometimes things happen on jobs . I will not leave a job 1/2 done just to stay on schedule. I will always communicate to you when a situation arises that causes me to have to reschedule or cancel a job . I will never just not show up . I will hope people can be understanding of this . Additionally an emergency job will always take precedence . Thanks- Ian

Family and Friends services was great. The service was on time and very affordable. I will be using this company for all my handyman work. They installed ceiling fans, fixed vinyl siding that was dropping, and repaired porch column.

I appreciated Ian’s helpfulness, his explanation of the problem (including photograph) and the reason he could not fix the leak (needs a roofer because of steepness of the roof). He was agreeable to helping me with a different issue, and I was completely satisfied with that project.
I will call him again for some minor electrical work.
