- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I normally charge [ $50/hour + materials] +15% overhead. I will take cash or check but prefer cash. I offer Quality workmanship for all the work I do. If I travel outside 10 miles, I charge $1/ mile to come for first visit to meet and take measurements and is applied to job when you hire me.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Contact me on Thumbtack and make an appointment to come see the job and make estimate. I will do estimate. Once agreed on you hiring me, I come do the work and get paid upon completion of work unless stated differently in estimate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a A.A.S. Degree in Construction Technology and have worked in this field since 1975 , self employed since 1980. I have done all types of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, sheetrock work, painting, drafting, and cabinets.
