My name is Matt Parker and I am a professional photographer based in Charleston, South Carolina.
I was born and raised in England. I have a passion for photography, and growing up on the Cornish coastline, it was impossible not to pursue my hobby in such a beautiful environment.
I studied for further training at college, followed by an honors degree in photojournalism and art photography at university.
Post university, I started my own business as a professional wedding photographer in England. I became a member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers, and the British Professional Photographers Association.
I moved to South Carolina in 2019 and am happy to call Charleston home. It is the perfect city to get married, offering so many beautiful locations and venues.
I approach wedding photography like photojournalism; Capturing the moments and memories as they happen as discreetly as possible. I like to use natural light whenever available and produce timeless images that you will cherish forever. I can shoot fine art, modern, traditional and any other style you request.

I also do surprise proposal photography, engagement shoots, bridal shoots, portraits, headshots, commercial and event photography and am a licensed drone operator so can shoot aerials commercially.
