I bought a wardrobe styling consultation by Nadine Camilla Catala of Love Marlow. My closet is a tribute to being OCD, so I knew Nadine wasnt going to tidy up (I had done that plenty of nights at 2:00 am). What I didnt expect was that Nadine would go through my curated clothes and find 5 or 6 new outfits, recombining some oldies but goodies in unexpected and wonderful ways. I was thrilled to fall in love all over again with my own clothes. (And, she identified two clothing gaps, which I will shop soon and fill. Woohoo!)

I have been thinking about hiring Nadine for a wardrobe edit and personal shopping trip since May 2016. Today was finally the day! I am kicking myself that I did not do this sooner. What an amazing time we had. There is a 3 foot pile outside my closet of things I knew needed to go, but could not get rid of myself. Everything that made the cut - looks beautiful and organized now. I now understand what goes with what. I cannot wait to start layering correctly and not looking so plainly dressed. After the closet was perfect (even shoes and belts), we headed out to shop. I was nervous! She knew exactly where to take me. After hitting a few stores we left with the cutest, most comfortable shoes that I am obsessed with. She also picked out the perfect skinny jeans, blazer and designer top. She helped me find the perfect dress for a gala I have coming up in a few weeks. I deserved this special treatment and I am so glad I finally scheduled it. It was actually not as expensive as I thought it would be. I will definitely be keeping in touch and hiring Nadine frequently to help me keep up with trends and seasons. She is just incredible at what she does!

Styling services are billable at $75/hour (travel fees are applicable to outside the Charleston area).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love to chat first with clients to discuss which styling services will benefit you the most. The Wardrobe Edit is a great place for us to get to know each other, to see which styles work best for your shape & personality and to figure out where the gaps are.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always enjoyed helping friends and family find their personal style. I find shopping to be exhilarating and I love a great find! Before I started Love Marlow, I worked as an asst clothing buyer as well as retail sales. I've always enjoyed helping people find clothing that makes them feel confident and beautiful.
