Glenn delivered exceptional service from start to finish, turning an unusually complicated and exhausting move into a remarkably smooth experience. This was not a simple move: it involved unloading one shipment, carefully organizing and placing those belongings, then loading a separate shipment for interstate delivery. The considerable distance between my apartment and the elevator added another major challenge, yet Glenn and Adrian completed the unloading and reloading in just three hours and twenty minutes. They worked with impressive speed, organization, and efficiency, without unnecessary delays or wasted effort.
Glenn’s performance was exceptional throughout the entire process. He later delivered and unloaded the second shipment, assembled the bed, arranged everything thoughtfully, and made sure no one at the destination had to do any heavylifting. He also kept me informed during the entire trip, providing clear communication and peace of mind from beginning to end.
His pricing was very fair, especially considering the complexity and amount of work involved, and the quality of his service was outstanding. Glenn was reliable, professional, accommodating, organized, and genuinely caring. I recommend him specifically because he handled a demanding multi-stage move with remarkable efficiency, communicated consistently, protected my time and energy, and went far beyond what I expected. Glenn and his team did a fantastic job moving a large sofa I purchased through Facebook Marketplace. Communication was prompt and consistent throughout the process, the price was very reasonable, and they handled everything efficiently and professionally. I moved an entire house from Ohio to South Carolina a little less than a year ago. I had some in storage and some in an apartment. They moved both the apartment and storage in one day. We moved the apartment first, and Glenn and his team went back for the storage unit themselves. He was trustworthy and reliable in doing this. Glenn responded right away when I asked for quotes and kept in touch regarding my movers. Glenn and his team were extremely efficient and quick. They moved a ton of stuff and nothing broke. They actually fixed stuff and put things together for me. Glenn professionally wrapped everything for me the day before the move which made things much smoother for them and me. Everything was easy with Major Moves. My move went as well as I could have expected! I would highly recommend them for any move and will definitely use them in the future if needed. 10/10 recommend. Oh and his prices cannot be beat!

You will not regret hiring Major Movers. We used Major Movers (Glenn and Adrian) this morning to move some of our furniture to a storage unit. They wrapped everything (on all sides) with moving blankets. They were able to get more in the truck than we expected and did not take as long as expected. (That rarely happens). My husband and I were impressed with their professionalism and skill… they are really good at what they do!
Responsiveness and value were also great!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is always a 3 hour minimum and a Truck fee if a Truck is needed. After the 3 hour minimum there is a $20 discount each additional hour ($300 minimum $150 Truck fee then $80 each additional hour, for example).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically review their quote, contact them, set up an in home estimate date, observe their home and we agree on a decision.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been a mover for 12 years now and have worked at some well known companies such as Two Men and a Truck, All My Sons and Allied. I've also worked at several locally known companies and built my own moving business which I've had for going on a decade this year (2026).
